| Friends of Hopewell Valley Open Space has been preserving and caring for land in the Hopewell Valley since 1987 and has played a major role in the preservation of nearly 4,000 acres of natural areas and farmland. As stewards of the land entrusted to our care, we strive to protect our natural heritage while creating opportunities for people to enjoy nature close to home. Our stewardship program has conducted woodland and meadow restoration projects on hundreds of acres, thus creating and improving habitat for native species. Our Private Lands Stewardship Program engages homeowners in similar efforts in their own backyards. |
