In 1993 Trees for Trenton developed its own set of bylaws, incorporated and applied for non-profit status. Since then we have combined our mission of urban reforestation through community involvement and environmental education. We were approached by the Hiltonia Civic Association and were asked to replicate the Cadwalader Heights project. This set the tone for future neighborhood reforestation projects throughout the city.
